My father legally immigrated from Hungary in 1957 as a political refugee. He hustled, went to night school, started a small construction business, and paid for me to go to college — his dream for me. In Hungarian culture, as in many others, food brings families together. And in Hungary, paprika is at the heart of almost every dish.
As families gather around the table — laughing, talking about life, sharing hopes and fears — they’re enjoying meals seasoned with paprika. It represents warmth, love, and the effort to care for one another.
My father didn’t know about strategies like PAPRIKA. Despite his hard work, he never found ways to make that effort go further. That’s why this strategy exists — to help hardworking, family-focused people like him (and maybe like you) put their effort to better use.
